HDG Welcomes Kristine Luther as Summer Intern

We are thrilled to welcome Kristine Luther, LEED Green Associate, to HDG as an architectural intern. Kristine is a current Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) Student at Pennsylvania State University in State College. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Building Science and Sustainable Design at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA.  In her role at HDG this summer, Kristine is assisting our team of design professionals with a variety of projects and also learning about the administrative and marketing aspects of working within the architecture industry. Welcome to HDG, Kristine!

 

ABOUT KRISTINE:

What interested you in architecture?

Growing up, I would look at a building and wondered how did it get here or how was it made. When you look around, you can see that each project has its own unique feature and can be whatever you want it to be. This makes each day interesting because there are many solutions for each induvial problem. Finding the right solution is the fun part!

Your favorite building design/example of architecture in the world?

Santa Maria della Salute, Venice, Italy

Hobbies/Interests

Planting, hiking, painting, traveling to new places, long walks, photography
