HDG HIRES JULIANE O’DAY AS ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

January 28, 2022  Juliane O’Day recently joined the Hayes Design Group Architects (HDG) as an Architectural Designer. In this role, Juliane assists the firm’s Project Architects with all aspects of projects from programming through construction administration. Juliane is a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon’s newly accredited Master of Architecture program and has received a Bachelor of Art from the University of Pittsburgh’s Architectural Studies program. She spent much of her time at CMU and Pitt traveling abroad. She enjoys road trips locally and exploring and experiencing other countries’ architecture and culture. She was featured in the university art shows for both colleges she attended. Her past experience includes interning for a small, local architecture studio that allowed a hands on approach to design. This drew her to Hayes Design Group for the small office feel of their medium-sized firm. Hayes Design Group encourages their employees to take on a variety of architectural responsibilities, fostering growth and results in a well-rounded architect. In her free time, she volunteered as a docent for Open Doors Pittsburgh, an organization that provides a look inside some of Pittsburgh’s most architecturally significant buildings. She also has an adorable dog to keep her busy while at home. Mark Duane, Principal, whom speaks highly of Juliane, “Juliane is such a talented young design professional. She has an innate ability to listen well, process the information, analyze options and come up with creative design solutions. She will certainly become an integral part of the firm’s philosophy to serve our clients at the highest level. Her personality is one that is collegial and supportive and will fit in great with our firm’s culture.” Read more about Juliane and the rest of our HDG team at: Meet Our Team – Hayes Design Group Architects Pittsburgh PA
