Carmichaels Elementary School

HDG Architects designed a complete renovation of an existing 80,000 SF Elementary Center which included the District Administration Offices. The existing school was in need of upgraded mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as well as accessibility improvements throughout the building. Renovation work also included a new main entrance creating a secured vestibule allowing the main office to control access during school hours. The scope of work also included finish upgrades to improve the aesthetic qualities of the floors, ceilings, and walls throughout the entire school. Creating a brighter and more durable environment allowed for a more upgraded appearance as well as reduced maintenance costs over time.
