Construction on the 11,000 SF building addition to Southwestern PA Water Authority Water Treatment Plant in Cumberland Township, PA, recently broke ground. The prime contractors are GM McCrossin, Lanco Electric, Port Vue Plumbing, and McRandal. The addition will allow the Authority to produce twice the amount of treated water they are currently producing. The project has begun with the relocation of Tin Can Hollow Road as well as utilities. Once the road relocation is complete, construction on the building addition will begin. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
