Spirit of Giving Alive with Appalachian Gift Drive

For HDG staff, this year’s holiday gift buying included toys for children in Appalachia. The effort was in support of St. Paul of the Cross Monastery (Pittsburgh), which sends presents to a parish in Preston County, WV – one of the poorest counties in the United States. Associate Tim Reidy led the charge, and HDG took on 10 children. With matching funds from the firm augmenting staff donations, they raised $800 for toys for the children. A “wrapping party” with pizza and holiday music got the staff together to prepare the gifts for their trip to West Virginia.
