Areas of Focus
Leading and preparing all marketing activities to support the HDG brand and business development activities. This includes a comprehensive marketing strategy through partnership with senior leadership in order to execute business development efforts, conferences and industry events, proposals and presentations, and public relations efforts (website, social/digital media, press releases, and other publicity).

Why the Hayes Design Group Architects? What keeps you here and motivated?
I enjoy doing a variety of marketing related tasks and working at HDG allows me to work on something different almost every day in a small office environment.  While my daily workflow often depends on deadlines that can’t always be controlled,  it’s important for me to work on different things in between deadlines, some more creative, and some more interactive (like getting out of the office to network at industry events). Since marketing our company is an important role for everyone at the firm, I like that it’s truly a collaborative effort that often starts from the top with HDG leadership, but each employee has the opportunity to voice their ideas on how to make our company better.  I enjoy my role of working with everyone at the firm to figure out creative ways to execute a variety of marketing related strategies.

Serving the Profession/Community
I have served on various committees and am a current Board Member and Past President of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Pittsburgh Chapter. I am also the current Chair and Past Public Awareness Chair for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Engineering Outreach (SPEO).  Through volunteering as part of both of these organizations over the past 10+ years, I have had the opportunity to hone my leadership and creative skills by helping with their websites, e-mail announcements, social media, etc. as well as organizing and attending events and building lasting relationships with other professionals within the A/E/C industry.

In my community, I am also a member of the Dormont Recreation Board and am actively involved in helping the Dormont Elementary PFO and the Dormont Athletic Boosters Association (DABA).

Hobbies/Interests
Spending time with my family, coaching baseball, ice skating, skiing, biking, listening to music, and going to concerts and traveling as often as I can.
