Why HDG Architects? What keeps you here and motivated?
I like being a client-service oriented firm that is relationship based. The standards that the firm upholds – a true advocate for the client with high standards of professional integrity – match well with my personal beliefs. The interactive and collaborative environment also strongly aligns with the way I prefer to practice and the way I approach design in general.
What is your favorite aspect of practicing architecture?
I like a challenge – problem solving, developing a creative solution to a particular issue(s). I also enjoy renovation projects, especially those that are the most difficult for the client to visualize all the possibilities, because it is this type of project that often times not only has the most challenges but also can have the most surprising outcome.
