Why HDG Architects? What keeps you here and motivated?
While relocating back to Pittsburgh from Florida, Kevin and Mark made me feel like I was an important part of the firm before ever stepping foot in the office. Because of this and the firm’s long list of successful projects, I knew the HDG would be a perfect fit for me. The experienced staff are always more than willing to lend a hand and share their knowledge. As an Associate on my way to licensure, that made it easy to come to work every day, learn, and become a better professional.

What is your favorite aspect of practicing architecture?
My favorite aspect of architecture is creatively solving problems and delivering a design that exceeds the client’s expectations. I also enjoy tackling the day-to-day obstacles that go unnoticed to the outside world but play an integral part in shaping the final design that people will interact with every day.
