Presley’s Place: Still Changing the World Two Years Later
August 20, 2021
It’s hard to believe it has been two years since the first-of-its-kind, sensory-friendly suite at Pittsburgh International Airport was completed. HDG worked with the Allegheny County Airport Authority team to design this truly unique space. Two years later, it continues to make a difference and has inspired new sensory rooms at airports and other locations around the world!
Opened in July 2019, Presley’s Place has received international attention from advocates, caregivers and families lauding PIT’s efforts to make air travel easier for those with sensory sensitivities and other special needs. (Photo by Beth Hollerich)
