LeMoyne Community Center

HDG provided architectural services for improvements to the LeMoyne Community Center located in the City of Washington. As Part of a Phase 1, the entire basketball court was removed and replaced and new flooring was provided throughout the 8,000 SF gymnasium. In addition to the new flooring and basketball court, the project scope included new basketball backstops, new bleachers, and accessibility upgrades. HDG provided Architectural and Engineering Services during construction documents, bidding and construction administration phases while working efficiently to prepare the project for bidding as quickly as possible. Phase 2 of the improvements will include demolition of the existing front entrance and existing kitchen and utility spaces. A new public entrance lobby with upgraded toilet facilities will be added to the south side of the building while a new, expanded kitchen facility will be added to the north side. Other interior office areas will be renovated and the surrounding site will be modified including expanding the existing parking lot and reconfiguring playground areas.
