January 6, 2020
Mark Duane, AIA, HDG Principal and Peters Township resident, recently became a Board member of the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber was formed in 1954 and plays an active part in the life of the township. The positive image of the Chamber provides businesses with better visibility and credibility in the community.
When asked about this new opportunity, Mark said, “I look forward to serving the community I’ve lived in for most of my life.” Mark’s parents moved to Peters Township in 1972 and still reside in their home now. After marrying and living in Bethel Park for 10 years, Mark moved back to Peters Township in 2003 with his wife Sandy and raised their three children.
Mark celebrated 15 years at HDG in 2019, and has a total of 30 years of experience in the architecture industry. He has managed projects for a variety of clients, and applies his thorough knowledge of design and construction to help clients bring their ideas to reality. Most recently, Mark has worked on several projects located in Peters Township, including the new Peters Township High School currently under construction, the on-going study to evaluate conversion of the old high school into a middle school, and the Peters Township Rolling Hills Park facilities currently in design.
