Hayes Design Group Project Updates
North Fayette Water Treatment Plant
The Hayes Design Group recently kicked-off a project for a new Water Treatment Facility for the North Fayette Municipal Authority. The Facility located on the Youghiogheny River will replace their existing water treatment plant that is over 100 years old. The proposed plant will have a capacity of 12 mgd (million gallons per day). The project is currently in the programming and schematic design phase.
West View Water Authority
Our work with the West View Water Authority recently reached an important milestone with the start of construction in March. The scope of the work includes a new treatment plant in Economy Borough and Baden, which will increase capacity. The Baden Borough site will extract raw water for treatment and sent it to the Economy Borough site for processing and distribution to consumers. The projected completion for the project is March 2018.
School Renovation Update
Bethel Park School District
Bids came in under budget for the renovation work to take place this Summer at Bethel Park’s Neil Armstrong Middle School. The project, which includes the replacement of the water line and exterior conduit will start after school is out (6/13), with a projected completion date of 7/29.
