The Hayes Design Group Architects Welcomes Randy Hunter

Randy Hunter, recently joined the Hayes Design Group – Architects (HDG) as an Associate Architect.  In this position, Randy will assist Project Architects with all aspects of projects from programming and design through construction administration.

Prior to joining HDG, Randy was a Project Designer at Fisher and Associates, in Florida where he gained retail and commercial design experience. His past experience also includes serving in the capacity of Intern Architect at Sampey & Associates in Pittsburgh, and Braun & Steidl Architects in Akron, OH. At these firms, Randy worked on projects in the education, commercial and religious arenas; including the design and additions for The South Hills Bible Chapel in Pittsburgh and a new Student Housing Complex for the University of Akron.

“Randy’s design experience in two of our key areas, education and religious buildings, will be an asset to the firm to build upon our leadership in these sectors,” stated Kevin Hayes, Principal, Hayes Design Group. “We also look forward to utilizing Randy’s expertise for our growing commercial project portfolio.”

Randy holds Bachelors of Architecture and Environmental Design from Kent State University and a Masters of Architecture and Business Administration from Kent State University.

Randy is the second addition to the firm in 2016 and the third addition since Fall of 2015.
