April 11, 2018

Kristy Costanzo, AIA, Project Architect at Hayes Design Group Architects (HDG), recently obtained her professional architect’s license after passing the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) and completing the Architectural Experience Program (AXP).  Kristy, a graduate of Kent State University with a Master of Architecture, Masters in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, is now licensed to practice as an Architect in Pennsylvania.

At HDG, Kristy is responsible for all phases of design work from schematic design through construction and project closeout, selecting finish materials, and performing construction administration duties. She manages work of Associate Architects and coordinates design and production work of consultants. She also manages the office’s Finish Library.

Kristy has seven years of experience including public and private schools, commercial and professional office buildings, and government buildings. Recent projects she has worked on include the Peters Township High School, West Greene Elementary Center Annex Addition, West View Water Authority Water Treatment Plant, and HDG’s New Office.

“We are thrilled for Kristy to reach this milestone in her career.  She joined our firm after graduating and has made steady progress in her growth as a professional and is a key member of our firm.  Her becoming registered is an affirmation of her diligent efforts to develop her skills,” stated Kevin Hayes, AIA, Principal and Founder, Hayes Design Group Architects.
